Serving Central Oregon since 2013
Welcome to Bend Chiropractic, conveniently located near Downtown Bend. We have been serving the people of Central Oregon for over 5 years now. My name is Dr. Jim Thornburg, and since I've come to Bend I have seen a lot a short time and I want to use my experience to help you improve the quality of your life!
One of the greatest joys in my life has been showing my children how amazing the human body is and how to keep it healthy. Between my love for sports and outdoor activities I have found a perfect place to raise my family. I've been married to my sweetheart since 2003 and we are beyond excited to be here in Bend.
As I said, I've seen a lot. My main focus since graduation from Western States University with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master in Exercise and Sport Science. I have dedicated most of my continuing education to the assessment and treatment of sports injuries and athletes. I have been the personal Chiropractor to multiple professional athletes from sports ranging from CrossFit and Weightlifting to Golf and high school athletics. I see a wide variety of not just injuries but chronic and long term nagging and persisting pain that can keep you from performing at your highest level.
My number one goal is your goal. I always have an agenda but at the forefront is to give high quality service and to help you reach your health and fitness goals.
Jim Thornburg, M.S., D.C.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Dr. Jim Thornburg has spent his life pursuing his passion of helping people. Growing up in a large city like Portland definitely had an effect on Dr. Jim. He saw that the diversity of the world wasn't just something to look at but it was something to embrace. Never one to take the easy road, Dr. Jim combined his Doctorate program with a Masters program to help round out the education that he desired. He is a father to 3 wonderful boys. Husband to Alicia, who he married in 2003. In his spare time Dr. Jim enjoys spending time in nature, reading or teaching people how to behave. ok, maybe not so much how to behave but rather how to manage your body. "some of my most rewarding experiences have been teaching people. giving someone the gift of knowledge and the reward of empowerment through their own dedication to understand is truly the factor of life that gives me the motivation to continue the work that I am doing." - Dr. Jim
